WHO WE HELP

Care for a wide range of pediatric needs.

Children may benefit from physical therapy when movement, strength, balance, coordination, development, pain, or an injury affects how they participate at home, school, play, or sports.

Infants

Torticollis & Early Motor Development

Support for head positioning, mobility, strength, and age-appropriate movement development during infancy.

Development

Developmental Delays

Therapy focused on mobility, balance, strength, transitions, walking, and other functional movement skills.

Neurological

Neurological Conditions

Individualized care for children with neurological diagnoses or movement challenges affecting function and participation.

Coordination

Balance & Coordination

Activities designed to improve body control, balance, coordination, confidence, and participation in age-appropriate movement.

Orthopedics

Musculoskeletal Injuries

Care for pain, weakness, orthopedic injuries, and post-surgical recovery in children and adolescents.

Mobility

Strength & Functional Mobility

Progressive activities that support walking, stairs, transfers, playground skills, recreation, and other meaningful daily tasks.

OUR APPROACH

Therapy that works with the child and the family.

Pediatric physical therapy should be clinically meaningful while still fitting into the child’s real world. We focus on functional goals and help families understand how progress can carry over beyond the clinic.

FAMILY-CENTERED CARE

Goals should matter outside the clinic.

A therapy goal may involve more than a test or exercise. It can mean keeping up on the playground, navigating stairs at school, developing a new motor skill, participating in sports, or making daily routines easier for the child and family.

Our clinicians work with families to make treatment practical, understandable, and relevant to everyday life.

FROM INFANCY THROUGH ADOLESCENCE

Care that changes as children grow.

The needs of an infant learning early motor skills are very different from those of a school-age child working on coordination or a teenager returning from an orthopedic injury.

Our pediatric team adapts assessment, treatment, communication, and goals to the child’s age, diagnosis, abilities, and priorities.

Examples of functional goals

Improving head and trunk control, reaching developmental milestones, walking more efficiently, navigating stairs, building endurance, improving balance, participating in school or play, and returning safely to recreation or sport.
