Scheduling and getting started.
How do I schedule a new-patient appointment?
Call 404-600-4627 and select option 1, or submit the appointment-request form on the New Patients page. Our team will help coordinate the appropriate clinic, clinician, and appointment time.
Can I book online?
Not currently. Appointments are requested by phone or through the website request form, and our team follows up to finalize scheduling.
How do I know which therapist I should see?
You do not need to choose on your own. Tell our new-patient team what you are seeking care for, your preferred clinic, and your scheduling needs, and we can help match you with an appropriate clinician.
What if I am already a OnePoint patient?
You can call the main number and choose the option for your clinic: option 2 for Virginia-Highland or option 3 for Edgewood/Candler Park.
What to expect.
What happens during the first appointment?
Your therapist will review your history and goals, evaluate relevant mobility, strength, movement, and function, explain the findings, and begin developing your plan of care. Treatment may also begin during the first visit when appropriate.
What should I bring?
Bring a photo ID, insurance information, any relevant physician or referral information, and post-operative instructions or restrictions if applicable. Comfortable clothing that allows movement is also helpful.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows your therapist to evaluate and move the body region being treated. Athletic clothing is usually a good choice.
Should I bring imaging or medical records?
If you have relevant records or imaging reports available, they can be helpful, especially after surgery or when another provider has given specific restrictions. You do not need to delay scheduling simply because you do not have them in hand.
Coverage and benefits.
Which insurance plans does OnePoint work with?
OnePoint currently works with Aetna, Ambetter, Amerigroup, Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Georgia Medicaid for patients under 21, Medicare, Medicare Advantage plans, MultiPlan/PHCS, Peach State Health Plan, Tricare, and Workers’ Compensation.
Can you tell me exactly what each visit will cost?
We can help estimate your responsibility based on the insurance information available to us, but the final amount depends on how your plan processes the claim, your deductible, copay or coinsurance, and other plan rules.
Does being listed as an accepted insurer mean every plan is in network?
Not necessarily. Insurance companies may offer multiple products and networks. Our team can review your specific plan, and you can also confirm network status directly with your insurer.
Where can I find more insurance information?
Visit our dedicated Insurance page for the current plan list, common insurance terms, and benefit-verification information.
